Our growing construction company is looking for a dependable Management Trainee to join our team. We are looking for someone with integrity and a strong willingness to learn. Construction experience is a plus, but it is not required. We value character, motivation, and a willingness to learn above all else.

Responsibilities

  • Be willing to learn the big picture of job site management
  • Carry out both administrative and in-field tasks as needed
  • Learn new construction skills as needed
  • Assist carpenters, crew leaders, and supervisors with daily job site tasks
  • Load, unload, carry, and organize materials, tools, and equipment
  • Help with remodeling, framing, demolition, repairs, punch-out work, and general construction tasks
  • Follow directions and work safely around tools, equipment, ladders, and other trades

Required Qualifications

  • Reliable transportation to and from job sites
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
  • Ability to follow directions and work well with a team
  • Willingness to learn and grow within the company
  • Ability to lift, carry, bend, kneel, climb, and perform physical work

Standout Qualifications

  • Previous job site Experience
  • Previous Leadership Experience
  • General knowledge of construction tools, methods, materials, and equipment
  • Knowledge of business, sales, marketing, or management
  • Post-Secondary Education
